What do you offer?
Friends Helping at Home provides personalised care and support that fits around people’s lives, not the other way around.
We support older adults, people with disabilities, those recovering from illness, and anyone who needs a little extra help to live well at home.
Our services range from companionship and help around the house through to personal care, dementia support and live-in care.
Everything is tailored, with the freedom to choose your carer and your visit times.
What hours can you provide?
We offer complete flexibility.Support can be arranged from just a few hours a week right through to full-time or live-in care.
Whether you need a morning visit, help in the evenings, overnight support or something in between, we work with you to create a schedule that fits your routine.
There are no rushed visits and no fixed time slots — your care is built around you.
What level of care can you offer?
We provide everything from low-level support through to complex care. This includes:
- Companionship and wellbeing support
- Help with shopping, meals and household tasks
- Personal care and mobility support
- Dementia and Alzheimer’s care
- Support after hospital discharge
- Live-in care
And much more.
Your support is always matched to your needs and reviewed as things change.
Do you have full time hours available?
Yes.
For clients, we can provide full-time and live-in care when needed.
For self-employed care professionals, full-time hours are also available, but unlike traditional agencies, you stay in control. You choose the clients you work with and the hours that suit your lifestyle, whether that’s a few hours a week or a full working week.
Why self-employed?
Being self-employed puts care professionals back in control of their work.
Instead of being sent to random visits or rushed between clients, you choose:
- Who you support
- When you work
- How many hours you take on
This leads to better relationships, better care, and a healthier work-life balance and it means clients get consistent, familiar faces they can trust.
